I've been lucky enough to have had 3 of those. Two 62s and a 63. all two door hardtops. Should have kept at least one.

I just saw a very nice chevy pickup of that era that was lowered and had giant ass intercooler and drag radials on all 4 corners. Was having a little gas station meeting with another fast looking pickup truck and some wild BMW z3.
I wanted to get pictures, but the owners were right there and in Rockford it's kinda a no-no to randomly walk up to owners in public and ask to take pictures of their cars.
I used to think these trucks were pretty rad, but I'm guessing the performance was paltry.

it's no Syclone.

There is a mint typhoon or syclone that's practically abandoned at a house down the street from my brother's.
It's in garage of house that's in foreclosure because the owner is in jail without bail for attempted murder or something.
Thought about trying to get a hold of the guys lawyer lol.

But I didnt like that they only came V6. The good news is they weren't popular and aren't really sought after now. So they're not expensive and theres no pressure to maintain originality if you want to mod one. So if you find one of the probably ten that still exist and haven't met the crusher yet, you could lower it and drop a 360 in it. Or if youre baller, make a new Hemi work in it.

That sucks.. My dad dropped a fir tree across the hood of his 50 chevy panel truck up getting firewood one time. Missed the carb so he could drive it home. He hated having done that because we never let him live it down.
