Default Air compressor

Saw some old threads on this. I have the pistol grip blow gun tip. Anybody use the cheap 3 gallon $50+ air compressor for cleaning 1/8 vehicles after a race day? Nothing to take to track, just one for home use. Basically blow off the dust, spray a little moto wash or simple green and blow it off. Thinking the $50 ones would work for that. Thx

There is a big difference between a 3 CFM unit and a 25 CFM unit where the 3 CFM unit will certainly get the job done, but a 25 CFM will get the job done more effectively and quicker.

I found a compressor that is about as loud as a refrigerator. expensive but if you want quiet Jun-air or any dental air compressor. I hate the sound of an air compressor.
