Default I know Iím an odd duck...

I know my opinions and ideals are not necessarily in line with the ďracer mentalityĒ... (thatís not meant as derogatory either) But I love model engines. I collect many different kinds - aircraft, surface, and marine engines. At present, I have 61 engines in total. I was curious if anyone else had a similar ďproblemĒ as I do.

The last 4 pictures are of two engines I had built to order for some airboat projects. Completely CNC machined from barstock. Works of art!

I love engine in general...so much more interesting than an electric motor. I have many engines for RC cars and helis. Hell, i use to buy those pee wee Cox .19 engine and run it on a test bench just for the hell of it. Nothing replace the sound and smell of a nicely running engine. Too bad nitros are out of fashion these days.

You aren't the only one.

Someone in my town has collection of motors like that iirc. They worked at testors for a long time and had huge collection of small gas and nitro motors.

My thought behind this thread was mainly in relation to model engines, FWIW.

.
Conley Precision Engines Inc.

model engines become real engines.
real engines become model engines..

as for a Model engine...
I had for years..
a 1972 Honda CB750 4 cylinder motorcycle engine on a custom stand as YARD ART...
.
I misunderstood the thread.. as an engine lover... even odd engines...
