Kyosho has been doing good with there muscle car bodies. Years back the Vaterra body looked good. But the fronts cracked way too easy. Iíve seen their Charger, Hellcat, Chevelle bodies at Hobbytown.

There a lot of us running MiniZ that nominated them for MiniZ. But looked more like they chose not count them during their voting last year.

I was able to get my sprint car one step closer to track ready today. Mounted the side boards to the main wing. Front wing was finished a couple days ago. This started life as my old offroad buggy I ran before the 5.0 came out.

Seems oddly quiet.

The club got it the ok to open tomorrow night. Undecided if gonna fight the traffic. It’s been an interesting, to be polite time in the Facebook group recently. I see a divisive subgroup rising that could be a an issue. Now they could bail out quickly. But I believe that can’t loose any if this is to have chance. Recent poll of where people ranked them self had about 3/4 on the new side and about a 1/4 on the ultra hardcore side. My Best guess is needs about 200 people a month to stand a chance.

Bought few things for MiniZ. More then wanted to spend. But convenience is needed. The motor brackets required to change pinion are annoying at best And after Sunday, it’s clear that pinion changes from home to big track are going to be regular.

Also getting a financial reboot. Those 4/5 months after my dad passed last February were like an expensive vacation that been on me since around September. I was aware that mom had put some restrictions on my access to my money. But didn’t fully realize till weekend. Sister is granting me a reboot. Once. Mom knew I tend to be less then responsible with money at times. Got a bit of a plan going forward.

I didn't realize buying RC cars was a matter of need.

NTC3 build is still creeping along. I ordered some parts a couple weeks ago, and of course to get a matching set I had to order each part from a different country. This has to be the most absurd hobby ever.

When I said I didn't realize buying RC cars was a matter of need, I meant I didn't realize he needed to buy an RC car in order to justify buying one.

The plan with the NTC3 is to finish building it, and then use it.

I understood what you said I just wanted to add my 2cent one of reasons for people joining forums. The plan for the NTC3 is rather lacking in detail but hope you'll finish it soon

Tonight I'm wondering if it's bad idea for me to have so much current potentially running through receiver. My servos stall at 7 amps a piece, and I'm running 3 of them.

Don't worry about that too much. It's rarely an issue. If in doubt, install a big ass capacitor or wire it such that the servos run off a separate power supply. (large scale plane guys do this, I forget how.)
