Isn't the Traxxas XO‑1 one of the best example of aero in a production rc car? I had one for a brief time before selling it.

It was designed with it. Though I never saw any proof it worked. At least not with mine. Changing from stock tires to 1/5 tires made huge difference on the same surface.

I only used the Traxxas tire on mine. It lost its appeal pretty quick apart from making speed runs I didn't see much use for it. On one speed run I took all the aero bits off and didn't feel much of a difference other than more air going into the body but I did cut out the rear of the body so it didn't matter much

switching tires made it driveable. Almost like a 1/8 road car. Iíve still got mine. The hard part is only few places really big enuff to use it, or my other 1/8. And never failed that a wide open parking lot would have few stragglers that decided to park randomly in the middle of it.
