Default What are you doing today?

I'll go first.

Right now I'm very glad I have a furnace instead of a heat pump, because it's -15C(5F) where I live this morning.

I'm also assembling a FF-03R kit that I've had sitting in my storage room for about a year, waiting for me to get bored enough to build it.

-24 here...brrrrrr Heat is running constantly along with the pellet stove. Its a solid 75 in my house and feels nice.

My youngest son and I are going out snowmobiling for a few hours (hopefully) and stop for a bite to eat at his favorite place on the trails. Then home to put his new dex210 together.

It's a balmy +17 here this morning and in about another hour I am headed for the Polar Bear 150 outdoor oval race at our local underground facility.

A new DEX210? I thought Team Durango kits and parts were all gone at this point. Have the hoarders started to sell their stashes on eBay now, or did you buy it a while ago?

Nothing new coming from TD thats for sure. I scored a nib kit a few months back and a used a roller not to long ago. I bought out a lhs of all their TD stock a few months ago and it had a ton of dex210 parts. We have plenty of parts to run for years to come. Actually I have bought quite a bit of TD vehicles since their announcement along with tons and tons of parts for pennies on the dollar online. Some good deals to be had if you don't mind buying a platform that there is no support for. Although I still believe the TD line will be picked up soon enough. I have currently 2 dex 210's, 2 dex 408 v2's, and 2 dex410's V2 and v4 and enough parts to support all. There is one part that is almost extinct (I have 1 spare)but I have been trying to design it in cad and have it remade. Although I stink at Cad but I will figure it out eventually.

What an I doing right now? Trying to find the "URC down for anyone else?" thread. I PM'd slick2500 and figured I'd pop in here to see if you had any insights fyrstormer. I see Eric1977 is wondering the same. Maybe Billy knows what's up. I'm sure he'll show up in here sooner or later. I suppose for now I'm going to get my wood stove on full tilt and battle this -4 degree weather.

No idea where it went. It’s not locked. It’s gone. Just wasting day watching Stargate SG1. With it looking like snow gonna be around for the foreseeable future, started checking batteries for my trucks. Not looking good.

URC down thread seems gone. I had it up on my browser last night and when I refreshed page it said I didn't have permission to access thread. 70% of that was "What are you doing right now?"

Don't heat pumps normally have furnaces as well?

Seeing as how RCT has removed our URC safe haven and URC is still down, this thread may evolve into the former. Is that cool with you fyrstormer? Last thing I want to do is highjack your thread, lol. Also, Happy New Year everyone!
