Hey mleemor60! I've been racing there recently. Different format from High Speed Hobbies but tons of fun. TCF, have you made it to Smithfield yet?

there is a small hobby shop in Fuquay that does mini z racing.

There is also Thunder Alley in Wilson, NC it's about an hour outside Raleigh and there is an oval track place about an hour west of raleigh called bump n run speedway. I visit Thunder Alley quite a bit.

sorry, no, they have a 10th scale indoor off-road and oval and 1/8ths scale outdoor track. Also an outdoor asphalt road course and i think a no-prep drag track but i've only used the indoor stuff.

There are a few

Fuquay Varina has a track and their is also one in Pinehurst.

I have been to the hobbyshop in FV but have not raced there.
There is normally a large turnout (20+ cars) in Pinehurst. (BPCS Hobbies)
