Default Let's Go Racing On Road Winter Blast Jan. 23, 2015 - Myrtle Beach, SC

DUE TO UNFORESEEN OCCURRENCES WITH THE STORE OWNER, AS SOME MAY HAVE ALREADY SEEN ON FACEBOOK, THE ON-ROAD WINTER BLAST WILL BE JUST A CLUB RACE THIS SATURDAY. As a friend of owner, I know he appreciates everyone planning to make it and is sorry for such short notice on this but unfortunately things happen.

I was going to post up information on LGR's 2nd Annual Spring Fling this weekend, but I will postpone and reconfirm the date and will post up information when everything gets reconfirmed, as i dont know how long he will be out of town handling family business.

I know this is a tad bit late, but I notified a few at Ho B Max during their Carolina Onroad Classic, which was awesome by the way.

Now Let's Go Racing in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina will be hosting their own Onroad Winter Blast on January 23, 2015 with open invites to everyone.

Enclosed is the FB Link. If you haven't received an invite and would like to go or think you will come, leave your name or FB link in this thread and I will try to add you to the event.

https://www.facebook.com/events/192577064421593/

A preliminary version of the layout will be down for the Tuesday night club race and will be finalized by Thursday night. The track is open from 3-9 each day and is available to practice for $3/hr.

On Saturday the doors will open at 8. Track will be open and controlled practice will begin at 9. Registration ends at 10, the drivers meeting will be at 11, and racing will begin shortly after that.

We will do three rounds of qualifying, scoring your best run. Trophies/Plaques will be awarded in all A Mains.

4 min qualifiers and mains for oval...

as far as legends all will be grouped in as one unless there are more than enough 21.5 1s and mod legend cars out to run

Legends follows pretty much all legends rules. He explained legends rules on the FB link. I do know for sure that all legends will be running pretty much box stock w/ spec yellow tires

But every other class i believe is open on oval unless otherwise specified

Yeah, more than likely it'll be 12th for me even though 17.5 just feels soo slow compared to 13.5. I was gonna run 13.5 at the VA State race, but no one showed up to run it. So I had to drop down to 17.5 on race day and it was boring. Full throttle around the whole track. hehe At least in Touring I can let off a little. But... I guess 12th for me. I'll have to get used to running 17.5 anyways since that's what King runs.

Also, what's the entry fee? Maybe I can run both classes...

Red face 17.5's are good

I'm with ya Jimmie on the usual preference for faster motors. However, on LetsGoRace's relatively small and tight layout, the one time that I went there previously, I found that 17.5's felt just about right.

Jimmy- you may want to run TC. This may be your one and only chance to beat me. Lol

If Landon's offer still stands I should be there.

I've beaten you plenty of times before, just not when you got that damn cheater car the Awesomatix. haha That's like an instant 1 or 2 laps for any newbie that gets it. hehe But seriously, I might run both classes. Touring will be for fun since I'm on a loaner car as well.
