Will there be mandatory driver changes, or can one driver do all 90 minutes? If one driver isn't allowed to do it alone, how many drivers are required? Is there a maximum or minimum number of minutes for each driver? Do you expect tires changes? At 90 minutes and a 5000mAh limit, it looks like there will be at least 3 or 4 battery changes. Are chassis modifications allowed for QC batteries?
This should prove to be a VERY interesting race.

Good questions.

Team is up to 3 people.
If you want one driver to race the entire 90min you can. No minimum driver time.
I would suggest if one guy is driving the entire race that you have at least two on a team and have one guy as the pit crew.
I expect that you may want to swap the front tires at least once. Rears should last.
No chassis mods for quick swap batteries but if you can find other ways to safely secure the battery and make a quicker swap feel free.

I really like this concept. I road race 1:1 and set-up compromises between two drivers is a challenge that is only magnified by the quicker-reacting RC cars. Looks like I need to buy another VTA-legal battery or two and start talking to folks about co-driving.

We finished a successful first run of the VTA Enduro at The Grove!! A big thanks to all that participated. You guys ran a fun fun race. I would also like to thank Brandon and Boca Bearings for sponsoring the race.

Our winner was... Team Zo!! They did it with consistent driving and lightning fast pit stops. Zo only broke out once in 90min. What a drving machine.

A strong second place run was put in by my team, Team Smoke. We had the second fastest pit stops and were the only team to use three drivers.

Third place was awarded to Team Iron Man. They put in some clean driving but were aggressive when necessary.

I would also like to give a shout out to Team Salt & Pepper. They had some car issues but was around to finish the race. They got the perseverance award.

There is already talk of wanting to run a night race enduro later in the year. Stay tuned for that.

Team Zo drove the #38 blue Camaro, Team Smoke in the #14 burnt orange Cuda, and Team Iron Man in the #38 Cuda.
