Default Questions About S/E Region Class Popularity

Just looking around at the tracks spread around the SE. It seems that in the Carolinas, Virginia, and Georgia very few tracks run short courses, and very little 1/10th scale. I was planning to get a 1/10 scale 17.5, but it doesn't look like there is much race activity for that class.

What are the most popular classes? It seems like 1/8 4wd nitro and electric are what's popular, is that correct?

Thanks

Yes, 1/8th scale and electric. Lot of 1/10th muddboss classes, oval etc. Most use Traxxas Slash platforms. Some latemodel aswell

If your looking to race offroad then 8th scale would probly be your best bet. most the tracks around here dont have much of a 10th scale scene. there are a few that still run some 1/10th scale but if you wanna race every weekend all over ebuggy or nitro buggy would be the best option. Ebuggy is every track runs that almost so thats one of the reason I run ebuggy over anything else.

Get 1 of each 1/10 and 1/8 that way you'll be covered just in case. I have 4x4 sct and ebuggy, new to both classes. I'm thinking about picking up a 1/10 buggy or truggy.
