Default Charlotte Area Basher

Hey All,
I am new to the RC scene and am looking for places to just go bash other than my neighborhood/backyard and am wondering if there is anywhere people have bashed in the Charlotte area? I know there are a couple skateparks that are in public parks. (I know of one in Charlotte and one in Mt Holly) Do they allow RC? Hornet's Nest Park has a BMX track. I know its pretty active, so they probably don't allow RC. Any other possibilities? It sucks that most of the area tracks and hobby shops have closed. Any other good place for parts/future cars other than Hobbytown in Mooresville?
Do any of the tracks have practice/public run times that I could go and just get experience?
Thanks

I'm up in Mooresville and bash local construction sites and parks. When the weather is good we get together about every week. We have ramps that we bring out as well if you don't mind sending it. Typical bash vehicles for us are Xmaxxs, Losi DBXLE, Arrma Krathons, Arrama Notorious.. etc. We also run boats as well in the lake as well. A few of us have spartans and other larger boats.

What park in Mooresville and what time on Saturday's? The weather's been brutal lately, but hopefully it will clear soon.

I'll post when we decide to bash.. Typically we meeting in a business park, but we have some new construction sites that are fun too when they are dry. Things have been so wet lately we haven't run them much.. Stay tuned.
