Will you be selling them, Mike? Or do we need to purchase them ourselves?

If we can get 10 people together that want them then I will order them and collect when we first get together. We are talking about somewhere between $38 and $40 per unit.

I have contacted Craig Guibas from I-Lap to come on this thread and answer any questions that are out there regarding the transponders and the timing system overall.

Purchase I-Lap Products

The car/truck transponders are $38 from the rclapcounter.com site.

Thanks Scott. I gotta get this link thing figured out.

The park created a social media page for us under the Kannapolis Raceway Park name and it is Linked to the Park and this forum. I haven't seen it yet but it will be an ongoing deal. The Park owners really excited to get this going.

But didn't Mike say that RCTech was the clearinghouse for information on this track? I'm confused.

RC Tech will be the official home of the race track for the technical side. The social media side will handle, well. the social side of it. The sites are all linked together but I will be riding herd on this forum. My thoughts on social media are well known. Perhaps I will now learn a few things and maybe relent. A little.

Got all the painting done today. Will be starting on the drivers stand on Friday and will begin installing the outer barriers on Monday. Got some more photo's today that will probably show up on the "media" side before I can get them emailed to my behind the scenes guys to get them posted here.

We had a couple of visitors today while we were painting. One brought a "mini" and ran a few corners. It wasn't loose and it didn't traction roll. The comment was made that the track looked like something you would see in Europe. Another was "I have never raced on a track this big before".

I am encouraged.

Mark, Mini rules work, i got the 03, seemed to work good on the track today with the sweeps.

With cleaning of tires and prepping they will be rocking.

Everything looks good, hope you can make it down on the meet and great day.

Mike, that was me and Matt Rusch.

I was just trying to protect the innocent by omitting names. The positive comments mean a lot.

We hope to be erecting the drivers stand on Monday and Tuesday of next week and it is more than two guys can do. We are really getting close. Have to get the boards pinned down and touch up the painting we finished yesterday and we will be ready for an open house not later than the 17th of December.

Got one section of the drivers stand assembled today. Should be able to get the other two done tomorrow if my back holds out. At any rate they should be ready for delivery to the track on Monday. We will likely spend most of the day picking up the rest of the inner rails as well as some other supplies to get yet closer to being ready to host an open house.

All three sections of the drivers stand completed and assembled, loaded on the trailer and ready to make the trip to the track. All the supports are ready except for 2 cause I can't count and didn't buy enough. It is getting really close now. All we will need is a small army to lift the 400lb. sections up so we can install the legs. No trick for a show pony as the saying goes.

Stay tuned for the next installment.
