Thanks Jacob. It really stings though. The weather is going to be decent, the track is in shape but the surrounding area is a$$hole deep on a nine foot sasquatch in mud. I don't want to have to have a wrecker on call just to get people out of the place. Social mediaphiles would assassinate us.

We are better off waiting it out.

Just a wake up call for those that may have missed it late yesterday. Today's event has been canceled. the ground around the track is impassable due to the snow melt. we will take up the next calendar date which is February 3rd with the same classes that were scheduled for today.

My apologies for any inconveniences that this cancellation has caused but the safety and security of our racers and spectators comes first.

Been a much more quiet day here then I had hoped it would be. Thanks to everyone for their understanding and patience with this endeavor. If I hadn't been the one that got stuck yesterday I would be second guessing the decision to postpone. Fortunately most everything is completed and ready for racing. This extra time will allow us to maybe do a bit more spiffing up to further enhance everyone's racing experience with us.

Since we had to postpone Saturday's event I got a bit of a reprieve from completing a repair to the water lines that feed the bathroom. I guess PVC doesn't like cold weather. Anyway I will pick up what I need while making life rounds tomorrow and have it repaired by Tuesday. Fortunately we will have some reasonably nice weather between now and the 3rd which should make the grounds around the track passable. I think though that it would be better if everybody parked down the bank and away from the fence. I know I'm not parking up there again until we have a solution for the super soggy soil.

Made it over to the park today to affect further repairs on the water supply line to the restroom. Also checked out area around the track. Although far from ready for vehicle traffic lite foot traffic is ok. The warm temperatures and really brisk winds are doing a pretty good job of extracting moisture from the ground. Lets keep our fingers crossed for continued pleasant weather for the next few days.

Speaking of the next few days, I will be a bit off the grid so it may be a tad quiet here. I will check in when I can but in the meantime watch social media for informational traffic.
