NRC Racing indoor Off-Road

Hi all, Brett here representing NRC Racing in Nanaimo. Do you live on Vancouver Island and Race? Are you coming to the Island on Friday? do you just want to race?
Well then good news!!!!The Indoor Racing season on Vancouver island is upon us and Far below is the schedule.

We Race Friday nights at Fairview School in Nanaimo (see directions below)
Parking is limited, at the main entrance but there is more parking on the East side of the building. THERE IS NO PARKING IN THE FIRE LANE, you can stop, unload and then move to the appropriate parking area, Cars left in the Fire lane will be towed.

Doors open at 5PM, and track setup begins (lots of hands makes for quick setup...hint hint)
once the track is setup the track is open for Practice(See if you show up and help get it setup, you get more practice) we ask that you respect the other drivers and after practicing take a few minutes to Marshal.
Registration starts at 5:30 (if your not able to get there before we get going closes call The hobby shop and pre register)
Racing starts at 6:00 sharp.
if things go smooth we try for 3 qualifiers and then Mains, this can change on the number of racers of course
After racing is done it's Tear down time, we ask that everyone stay and help out.

We regularly do a Pizza order from Panago Pizza. Cost is $10 for a small 2 topping pizza and a can of soda. There is a little convience store across the street but, he closes at like 6pm, so if you need provisions recommend you buy before you get to there.

Cost is $10 for any Club member (not Just NRC, prove your a member of another club and your fee is just $10) $20 for non-members and first time on our track and your free

1 Class per person, pick your poison and race it

we don't generally tech vehicles unless something is noticed during racing, we expect all racers to be straight up and honest. Chassis protectors are highly recommended, if your not running one please check your chassis after each race for anything loose. Makes sure all shock towers are tight and won't dig into the carpet if you crash. our carpet is or life and we can't afford to wreck it. Any driver the club feels isn't respecting this will not be allowed to race.

You must Marshal or have a marshal arranged to marshal for you, It is not the Race directors job to find a replacement. Anyone found not marshaling may face penalties.

This is a family friendly club, we expect all drivers to respect that by keeping the cursing out and making the kids feel welcomed, bottom line we are all there to have fun and race, lets do that

So we have gotten some Races under are belts, which can be seen here https://nrcracing.liverc.com/

We recently switch to Livetime and it has been great, minus some technical issues (which are now sorted).

Great Spec racing, we have had some great turn outs and some real tight racing.

Another Great Race night on Friday Nite (well for everyone else, I decided to destroy my Servo on the second Qualifier and had no back up...d'oh!!!).
Lower turn out but hey, it's christmas, not surprised, it was still a great night.
One more race before the X-mas break then back in January.....be interesting to see who shows up with a new ride in the new year.
