1) they will end up being 1-3 run tires, cut down, sauced and glued

3) there are many other foam tire classes already, I don't need it
4) not beginner friendly, needing to true and round repeatedly
I'd probably quit racing if we went to a foam spec tire, that's how much I hate foam tires and why I don't run any of the foam classes.

I can't see it taking over the touring classes, more of an additional class like before.

I can kinda advocate for both sides of the argument as i love to race 12th scale, though i think if it turned into another 12th scale mod, it would definitely become too expensive to pursue with any seriousness, at least for me.
stock 12th scale is pretty ideal right now. the tires last a long time on black carpet and don't have to be trued super small with current gen cars. I think i was starting at 42/43 and getting a few club races out of them. its more of a commitment for sure than touring car tires, but the tires are much more consistent as they age and dont have a drop off point. basically at irocc we run our tires to plastic and often can still get around the track.
id be into trying it out as an auxiliary class next year for sure but maybe don't touch current touring stock/mod ect.
as for 21.5 ect. it prob makes sense, but not if there are too many other 21.5 classes as well. too much class dilution and stock touring car as been considered a skill step up from those classes. unless you just delete touring stock completely and replace it with scale spec. id kinda like to see more classes with 40+ entries than a bunch of 10 car classes ect..

Guys - please do me a favor and stop signing up on the WCICS site with different email addresses - just maintain ONE account. Every time you do this you screw up points calculations and increase the amount of work I have to do.

If you lost your password use the password reset to send you a new one. If you can't access your old email account and need it changed manually just send me a message.

I'm sitting here merging 50-something accounts because guys have just created new accounts instead of logging in... sigh.

I know I'm probably a little slow when it comes to computerin' and such
But could you. Or set it up so one could only register an email address one time
Like most other sites

It is setup like that - the problem is people then sign up again with a different email address. Which normally I wouldn't care about - however when they have two accounts in the system it really screws up the points system that is in place.

Default WCICS Victoria Race

For the out of town racers that are flying in to Victoria this weekend
Does the club give rides to the track Friday afternoon?
Thanks

Check the specific event thread,

I am 75% sure I saw Blake say there would be a shuttle service, your best bet is to get ahold of Blake or Luke to confirm this though.

Can someone with the powers to be !!

Please update the website to include Kamloops leg !!

Thanks Luke

And also fix the website standings from Blinds plus Mini .

The results from Victoria leg were entered wrong
Only three Minis ran at that event. But were combined with Euro truck for the main events
Buchan,Lee and Quanstrom were the only minis that ran at this event.
The rest were Euros The standings show all vehicles entered as Minis Please fix the standings .

Does it not need to have 5 entries to count for points anyway?
Seems like mini is a dying class at most races, is it maybe time it's on the chopping blocks like how wgt was dropped.
tandman likes this.

So that wraps up another season of WCICS. Congrats to all the race winners, all the class champions, and hopefully all the racers had a fun time, cause that's what were all here for!

I've created the new season post here: https://www.rctech.net/forum/canadia...l#post15205706

It has the new rule changes, tentative new schedule, etc. Please post any comments there as I won't be checking this one much anymore.

Catch you all in the fall!

Josh
