Default Anyone from Toronto or Scarborough?

Hey folks!

Was hoping you are in the vicinity of Toronto or by north east Scarborough?
Maybe we can hook up and learn this RC stuff and check out each other's RCs.

Or are there any upcoming meets?

cheers!

That's awesome do you race at all or just build and collect them??

I can't find anywhere to race around here 1/10 nitro on road let alone 1/8

Forgot to check this thread. Couple friends met up tonight to race 1:8 gt cars. We meet at go station lots in the Richmond Hill area. We kinda meet spontaneously depending on weather and schedule . if anyone has similar size cars and want to 'race', I'll post the next time we meet.

But just a heads up. We're friends and kinda go at it so there is bumping involved, and our car bodies show it.

Sorry to sound like a snob guys, but I cant believe that in a city the size of Toronto there isn't one RC club. That is really strange. I mean there are like 5 clubs (offroad) within 1 hr drive of downtown Detroit and not one in TO. Wonder why.

There are a ton clubs within an hour of Toronto.
We generally run our programs on Facebook.

Join this group on face book, it has a list of every track in Ontario and links to a calendar with every race date for all those tracks.

Not very many people run nitro on road anymore. RC404 in New Market will be have 2 asphalt races this summer. Check them out on Facebook as well

Message me on here and I can point you in the right direction. I've been at this for 20 years now.

Lots of 1/8 nitro offroad in Ontario. 3 tracks and and a few series races going on. It's all in the Facebook group. Each track also has it's own Facebook page. RC in Ontario generally shares the information through Facebook.
