*** VERY IMPORTANT SCHEDULE NOTE ***
The new WCICS triple/double mains format requires more time to complete the main events compared to previous years. Depending on turnout, we *might* run the A1 mains on Saturday evening after qualifying is finished. If this is deemed necessary, then we will also run several heats of Q1 (likely Mini and Touring Stock) on Friday evening to allow more time on Saturday. As registration numbers firm up, we'll know if these schedule adjustments will be necessary or not.


Travel
The track location is very close to the Victoria airport (YYJ), the BC Ferry terminal (Swartz Bay), and the WA Ferry terminal (Anacortes->SidneyBC). All of these options are less than five minutes from the track and hotel. IROCC is offering a free shuttle service for those that are flying or walking-on the ferries.


Food
There are many restaurants, fast-food options, and grocery stores within one/two blocks of the track.

This will be Lucas (new irocc guy for those who don't know.) first big Rc event. He is registering for tc stock and scale spec. I hope he will enjoy it as much as we do! He has not been able to race much beacuse his esc fried.
He has a new one on the way.

Just signed up myself for tc stock 1/12 stock and 1/12 mod. This should be fun.

Just found out that my school would like to do a morning announcement to premote the speed weekend race!
It will be announced On the first week after Christmas break.
It will basically say to go check it out and what it is about.

U guys ok with that? If so expect at least 40+ extra people watching on the Saturday of the race! Most likely more....
