Alex from www.gripworksrc.com will be attending the Victoria race. I would suggest ordering thru his website to make sure you get those items. Alex usually supports the race with his traveling shop. Opt for pickup rather having it shipped.

We are in the home stretch this week. Looking forward to kicking off 2017 with a little 3 day race weekend.

Any indication that a partial round of qualifying will go off Friday evening?

If the current count holds then we will have fewer entries than last year. I'm hoping we will have a full Friday of practice. Also consider the number of people new to the black carpet.

Yep, at this time it's looking like a regular WCICS schedule with Practice all Friday afternoon, Qualifying on Saturday, and Triple/Double Mains on Sunday.

Also keep in mind that there might be a small spike in entries within a few days of the event. It has happend in the past. I know a few people who have not signed up yet and will be attending the race. ( I need to get them to do that..... Lol). Others might know more people too.

There are still many people who have not provided there transponder numbers. If you aren't sure if you have or not, just check the following registration page:

If there are any red dots beside your name (under the classes you registered for) then that means we do not have your transponder information.

While it isn't required, it is highly recommended as it will allow you to view practice lap information and be included in other WCICS Live features. Also it will make creating the race in RC Scoring Pro much easier on Blake.

So please - login and update your transponder information, or you can send them to me and I can do them manually.

To update your transponders:

- Login to WCICS Site
- Go to "Racers Area" (link at Login or in top-right corner)
- Go to "Transponders"
- Add your transponders with notes so you know which is which
- Go to "Registrations"
- Select the race you want to register for (Victoria, BC in this case)
- Select the transponder for each class you are registering for from the drop-down
- Hit "Apply Changes" once you've completed everything

Once done go back and look at the registration page and make sure all your registration dots are green.

Traction Compound
All racers will receive a complimentary bottle of Regular SXT Traction Compound with their registration. So, no need to pack a bottle in your gear, especially if you are flying. Regular SXT will be the spec traction compound at this event.

Event T-Shirt
IROCC will be providing all racers with a complimentary event T-Shirt at the race. Big thanks Jody Haddow for creating the cool artwork this year.
