Default WINTER INDOOR OFFROAD! Surrey

Hey Racers! OutlawRC has secured a facility to hold racing for the entire winter. We will be hosting a 12 race series, flyer to come soon. This will be a ozite carpet track with carpeted jumps. We will be modelling the track much like Priemer RC's off road track. We have roughly 3500-4000 Sq Feet of carpet so we will have a pretty good size track. I will update often to keep you all updated. The facility is at Cloverdale Fairgrounds in Surrey.

New dates, 10 races

5 points races in 2015
5 points races in 2016

Oct.17
Oct.31
Nov.14
Dec.5
Dec.19
Jan.9
Jan.23
Feb.6
Feb.20
Mar.5

I know not everyone does on road but was just wondering if any chance of changing 2 of the dates so racers (local) are not forced to choose between the 2 race's First is nov.7 that is the date overgeard has had there race (big chill) planned for month's now. The 2nd is Jan.9 , its a WCICS race in Victoria which also been planned for close to a year.

Default advice

Hi! I love offroad so i am intrigued and excited to try ur track. Wondering if the classes will have motor restrictions (ie 17.5 for 2wd)?
Also wondering about tire choice as i have only raced on dirt and dirt with calcium in the okanagan.
Thnks!

No motor restrictions. For tires we are running slicks. Clay compound would be the best compound.

The dates posted on the Outlaw RC site are currently different than what you have posted above. Which are correct?

Default fun day!

I had a great time trading paint in the B 2wd and the A 2wd sct with everyone! Already thinking about setup improvements....even stiffer springs, sway bars, lower ride height, more motor. Lol.

is there a race program ? I was wanting to find out the hours of operation on which days, are you only open on the race dates on the poster and what time will you open on those dates and also what time would practice start? And would i beable to use some old dirtwebs on my sct in novice or is it only slicks for all classes?

I raced once and then watched another... any tire that doesn't have "sharp" tread was accepted so as not to rip the carpet. I ran some bald suburbs on my sct and 2wd bug. Most of the top guys had slicks.... I did sneak 2nd in 2wd sct.
