Big Chill returns for the 2016 Season

Track will be open Friday from 3pm to 10pm for practice. Early registration will be from 7pm to 9pm on Friday evening. The doors will open at 7-9am for practice and registration on Saturday. Registration will close at 8:30am with a drivers meeting at 9:15am. Qualifying will begin at 9:30am sharp. For Sunday, doors will be open at 7am for practice. Last chance qualifying will begin at 9am sharp but time may be pushed to 8am depending on number of racers. We should hopefully be done around 3 to 4pm but this again depends on the number of entries.
Classes include
• Touring Stock 17.5
• Touring Modified
• 1/12th scale 13.5
• 1/12th scale Modified
• Formula 1 Rubber 21.5
• Big Block Scale Spec 21.5
• Spec Mini 21.5
All races are 5 minutes in duration with the exception of the 1/12th Scale cars at 8 minutes.
Tech inspection…Battery voltage will be checked before the race. Must be at 4.200000000 volts per cell or below. Ride Height and weight will also be checked before the race.
Drivers are required to corner marshal after their race. If they cannot marshal they are required to find their own replacement and inform the Race Director. If the Race Director finds a driver/substitute not corner marshaling, their previous qualifier will be docked 1 complete lap.
There will be a Spec Tire for Touring Stock and Modified…. Tires are Sweeps 32s. Tires will be available for purchase at the track from Overgeared and will be marked per class. The tires will be between $35-40 Price will be based on US exchange at the time...as close to $35 as we can get. 1 set of tires will be checked in for the weekend for TC stock and 2 sets for TC Mod. Each class will require its own set of tires.

Drive train - Open Diff and Drive train, maintaining the kit FDR. 16, 18 and 20 tooth pinions in M-03/M-05/M-06. 17 and 19 tooth pinion only in M-04. 21 tooth pinion not permitted.
Hop Ups - All other Tamiya or aftermarket hop ups are permitted.
ESC – any ESC in BLINKY mode or brushed ESC

We will be doing pre registrations to secure your tires.
Limited tires will be in hand to cap the entries for stock and mod.
Stock touring, 1 set of tires will be allowed.
Mod touring will have the option of 2 sets of tires.
