Hey guys,

Just throwing this out there. I know we talked about it a few years ago and nothing really happened but maybe this is the right time now.

Any racers want to pledge some $$ to get the club the new Black CRC carpet? I don't know how the BOD feels about this, but it would be nice to bring the track up to current level as the carpet that they are using is now in it's 13th year? back then the carpet was bought the same way ( racers pledges )

I believe we need about $8000 CND to get four rolls delivered.

32 People X $250 dollars and we are all racing on the the new black gold.

Anyways, I am down for $250 anyone else?

If any of you cats are looking for a hauler bag, I have a Hudy 1/8th scale one that is in need of new home. I'm in the New West area at least once a month (19th-22nd this month) put the word out, hit me up with a PM, the price will be right...

(sorry to spam your thread )

Default New to racing

Hello everyone! I am very interested in trying an organized racing event for the first time and was wondering If I can simply just show up for the first race of the season but only to practice and some qualifying rounds. Unfortunately I can't stay the whole day on Oct. 1st but of course would pay the full entrance fees. I am looking to to enter a few classes with one of them being the big block class but am not really sure on what type of body is allowed. Is the class restricted to muscle cars or can I use an import body as long as it isn't a to body? Thanks for any help as I am sure I will have many questions before the start of the season.

Welcome!

Come and get as much track time as you can. Practice is usually early in the morning after setup.

Any non touring car body is good to go, we're going for realism and fun

Come see me if you need any help throughout the day. We're all here to help and have fun

Thanks for the response! I forgot to ask earlier but is there anywhere locally I can run on a track during the week?
