Default Where to get a decent Lipo

What are you guys using for 2s lipos for stock racing. I'm looking for the highest constant C rating with the highest mah, but would like to not spend an arm and a leg.

In the past I've used SMC 7200 stick packs, which can be bought for $70 CAD, which I have no problem using again. Just wondering what everyone elses choices are?

Turnigy Nano Techs from HobbyKing work great and are pretty popular. Pricing is pretty good too.

Shipping lipos into Canada from Hobbyking has gotten pretty bad as of late and pretty costly. Though the Turnigy Ultimate lipos are really good from what I've seen. SMC is a pretty good bang for the buck, and even better with the awful USD/CAD exchange rate.

SMC's are now sold by BegoRacing out of Quebec. Cheap shipping and no exchange rate!

Prices are good but be careful -site is mostly in french and a number of batteries are "pre-order". They also don't seem to have ANY 2S round hard packs for the Mini guys....

You can select English from the Bego web site and then you should be OK.

+1. Yah I have been getting smc packs from bego also as I find they are the best bang for the buck. Shipping from the US for Lipos is expensive. I have been using the 5000mah 70c in my on road cars this season and have been working great. Only downside is they are light weight.

Thumbs up

I don't know where you are located but if you are looking for a Canadian online store, you can check out http://gripworksrc.com. He is from Vancouver, BC and Alex is a great guy to deal with. Check out his store for batteries and much more.

Terra Nova Hobby in Alberta used to have good deals on lipos. Is he still operating?
