3rd annual Race For The Racers presented by the CMRC
We are working out some of the details as I will be editing this post sometime soon. We are currently working on a flyer still.
The RFTR trophy race will be held in August on the weekend of the 7th 8th and 9th.

Or you can also click here--->http://www.wheretoracerc.com/events....ID=523&details to sign up for this event and find out more information about the location and directions to the track!
Classes that we will be running are:
Novice
2wd Buggy
2wd Truck
2wd Sct
4wd Buggy
4wd Sct
1/8th E-buggy/truggy
There will be registration pit setup and practice on the Friday till dark.
Saturday we will have last minute registration in the morning.
Drivers meeting will be at 8am and first qualifier will start at 8:15am.
There will be 3 rounds of qualifying.
Sunday we will have a drivers meeting at 7:45am and have the first race on the line for 8am.
There will be triple a-mains on Sunday so we want to jump right into racing in the morning.
We do have power but if you have a genny might as well bring it.
Race fees are as follows:
$25 first class
$15 second class
$10 third class
$5 for each additional class after the first 3.
For the out of towners that pre-register they will get $10 off first class. For locals who pre-register they will get $5 off first class.
We would also like to start a debate on weather we should have a 2wd buggy spec tire. Pretty much if you don't have wedges for the front and either pin-points or mini pins from either Schumacher or pro-line it might be tough to be competitive with those of us that do have the tires. If you guys want to leave some feed back and tell us what you think we can make sure to have some sets of those tires on hand.
Hope lots of you racers can make it out this year to try out the high traction clean carpet and have a great weekend racing with the CMRC in the Kootenay Boundary Area.
See you all on the RUG!!!!

Im fine with a spec tire, just let me know what they'll be so i can get some mounted up before. What are you guys recommending for 4wd SCT tires?

Glad your going to make it out Nick! Well as far as the spec tire proline pinpoints on the rear for 2wd buggy with proline wedges on the front are pretty much the best combo we have tested to go fast without traction rolling the odd time. Far as 4wd sct goes im sure the pinpoints on the rear would be great but for the front you don't want pinpoints. We have tested them too and they seem to want to make your rig traction roll. So any kind of worn out tire works good on the front for 4wd rides. And if you want more steering just try some fronts with bigger lugs really. Hope that helps you and anyone else

2 weeks to go!!!!
Well we are on the final 2 week stretch before the rug burning contest will begin. So clean up your rides and get them ready for some tight racing!!! Also camping on site is allowed if you want to bring an rv/trailer you most certainly can!
