The results are saved automatically at the end of each race, you don't have to do anything manually for that to happen.

I could not find where they were saved at first, Martin and I looked, but could not find them, thought they were not saved. I did some digging and found them.

Yes, there will be practice on the 8th, set up at 5pm. More on this later, but, I would like some feed back on the time. Is 5pm too early for set up? should we set it at 6pm? Will more people be able to show then?

Hey Kelowna Race fans!

Just wanted to touch base regarding rules and what rule set we are following as I've been asked a couple times this week about various things.

We will be following WCICS rules, just slightly modified for TC tires. What does that mean?

Touring Car - Stock
  • Minimum Weight: 1380g
  • Battery: 2S Hard Case LiPo (doesn't have to be ROAR approved anymore!)
  • ESC: No Timing, Blinky Mode
  • Motor: Any ROAR Approved 17.5T (No D3.5)
  • Tires: Any 32 shore (Sweep 32 Recommended)
  • Ride Height: Minimum 5mm (keep our carpets safe!)
  • Body Shell: ROAR Approved TC

Touring Car - Mod
  • Minimum Weight: 1380g
  • Battery: 2S Hard Case LiPo (doesn't have to be ROAR approved anymore!)
  • ESC: Timing Allowed
  • Motor: Any ROAR Approved Motor
  • Tires: Any 32 shore (Sweep 32 Recommended)
  • Ride Height: Minimum 5mm (keep our carpets safe!)
  • Body Shell: ROAR Approved TC

12th Scale - Stock
  • Minimum Weight: 730g
  • Battery: 1S Hard Case LiPo (doesn't have to be ROAR approved anymore!)
  • ESC: No Timing, Blinky Mode
  • Motor: Any ROAR Approved 13.5T (No D3.5)
  • Tires: Open Foam
  • Ride Height: Minimum 3mm (keep our carpets safe!)
  • Body Shell: ROAR Approved 1/12th

World GT
  • Minimum Weight: 930g
  • Battery: 1S Hard Case LiPo (doesn't have to be ROAR approved anymore!)
  • ESC: No Timing, Blinky Mode
  • Motor: Any ROAR Approved 10.5T (No D3.5)
  • Tires: World GT Spec Foam
  • Ride Height: Minimum 4mm (keep our carpets safe!)
  • Body Shell: ROAR Approved WGT

Formula 1
  • Minimum Weight: 1050g
  • Battery: 2S Hard Case LiPo (doesn't have to be ROAR approved anymore!)
  • ESC: No Timing, Blinky Mode
  • Motor: Any ROAR Approved 21.5T
  • Tires: Open Rubber F1 Spec
  • Ride Height: Minimum 4mm (keep our carpets safe!)
  • Body Shell: ROAR Approved F1 Spec

CTA
  • Minimum Weight: 1450g
  • Battery: 2S Hard Case LiPo (doesn't have to be ROAR approved anymore!)
  • ESC: No Timing, Blinky Mode
  • Motor: Any ROAR Approved 21.5T
  • Tires: CTA/VTA Spec
  • Ride Height: Minimum 5mm (keep our carpets safe!)
  • Body Shell: ROAR Approved CTA/VTA Spec

The "exec" will perform random tech inspections throughout each race day and make suggestions and help you get your car to fit into the above rules. This is done for two reasons: 1) Help you get ready for larger races, for example WCICS, where you'll be tech'd more seriously and it could mean missing a race and 2) to keep everyone "honest" and on the same playing field (this is what spec classes are for, no?).

Now for the bad news! If you are "caught" (we know you aren't doing it intentionally, but what other word do I use?) running outside of these rules and don't make an effort to rectify it, we are not going to disqualify you or anything, but you will not earn any points toward the series from that race day for any of your classes. If you continue to

And YES, this rule DOES apply to the "exec" as well. In fact, I'm going to tech Earl's Awesomatix twice a day and once on practice night.

So, let's just keep it simple... follow the above rules. If you don't know how, then ask me, Earl, Aaron, anyone... we will all be happy to help. Don't have a non D3.5 motor? No problem, borrow one or go down to Okanagan Hobbies & Crafts, talk to Martin or Aaron and they will be happy to sell you something that will work.

Out of town racers - same rules apply to you guys. I know some of you guys aren't running 32 shore tires at your clubs, so if you don't want to buy any just talk to some of the guys who race WCICS regularly, I'm sure they'll have a set they can lend ya (I do) so you don't have to spend more cash.
