Chris,

Regarding the F1 the series down here is set for every other saturday begining oct 8th. All aftermarket hop-ups excluding 1-ways are legal. Motors are to be 19T fixed timing spec motors, the DC, and Brood drilled 19T arms not legal. So far I have found the fast motor (for the curent layout anyway) to be a C2 with putnam greens with verticle slot and timing advace cut FS 8.5+, *8.0-. geared down 1 tooth from the high speed gearset. The next best motor setup is an Atlas 19T with F brushes cut verticly with the high speed gear set (about .1sec slower than c2 the 1st min) The best tires are Pit mediums, softs work just as well but only last about 6-7 runs. Tamiya As scrub more than Pits and last about 10-12 runs, the same as Pit mediums. Both the Ferrari and Williams front wings work so long as you run pit tires.

What do you mean by "drilled"?

By drilled arm I mean a spec armature where the stacks have been drilled through lengthwise to lighten the arm and the rebalanced. The drilled stacks have a similar effect as Curtis's milled stacks but to a lesser extend and are not visible through the vent holes in the can.

Basically any spec arm that has been modified will be illegal for the F1 series.
