Overgeared Racing 2014/2015 Racing Season
 

The New Season is almost upon us.... The first confirmed date is September 27th... only 5 weeks away...
This will be a practice day, Open Practice until the track gets too crazy then we will break into controlled 15 Minute segments. Great chance to shake off the cobwebs and shake down your equipment before "Big Chill" the following weekend in Chilliwack.

We will once again be doing setup on Friday Evenings around 930 with free practice to those that help with setup until Midnight. Doors will Open at 8am Saturday with the track closing for tear down at 5pm... we need to be cleaned up and out by 6pm. Practice day will be $25 per person... unlimited on road cars.

We also need to discuss what rules and classes our group wants to follow this year. We would like to get anyone who is interested in the Overgeared Winter Season to get together at the RRR Club race on September 7th.... around 3pm. or there abouts... quick meeting between rounds.

Is it safe to assume that racing will be every two weeks after the 27th with obvious concessions for out of town trophy races?

Actually we are not able to secure the same as last year:cry::(... there will be some back to back and some gaps...Sept 27 for sure... we should have the rest of the dates by the meeting next weekend:sweat:... the schedule will be posted here when confirmed.:D

Friday Night Schedule:

We will be setting up on Friday at around 9:30-10PM and will run until midnight.

Saturday Schedule:

Doors open: 8:30 AM
Registration by 10AM
First Qualifier by 10:30AM
We must leave the building by 6PM

We will be firm on the registration by 10 and first qualifier by 10:30 since we couldn't do the full 3 qualifiers last year due to people strolling in later. If you cant register by 10 but would like to be on the first qualifier, then let one of us know and we will put you in the first qualifier otherwise you may have to wait until the second qualifier.

Price:

1st class: $25
2nd class: $10
3rd class: $5
$5 back to those who stick around to put away the track.

Classes:

5 Car minimum per class. We will be firm on this due to the fact that some classes had 3 racers and there wasn't enough marshalls for the next heat.

We will be running 6 minute qualifiers and mains and 8 min qualifiers and mains for 12 scale.

Hard case Lipo is mandatory for all classes.
Must be in blinky mode unless your running mod/open.
