We definitely need help with teardown. $10 back for helpers at the end of the day.
Location:
BCIT Aerospace Campus
3800 Cessna Drive
Richmond, BC
V7B 0A1
The lot is the first entrance accessible when heading North on Russ Baker Way after you pass Gilbert. For now there is no access from Southbound as a security gate is closed from the campus on Friday evenings. If you look on google maps, we are the most south parking lot on the BCIT campus, and we run in the middle. The gate is open Saturday Mornings.
Points Series: Top 3 drivers in every class at the end of the season will get prizes. Points will be collected and entered similar to OGR. Two throw-outs.
Summer Challenge: Depending on interest we may do the usual trophy race weekend, or one day practice and prep and one day enduro(Teamed Race - 3 Hour Nitro Race followed by 3 Hour Electric Race!) Please give us some input on the dates, and what YOU, the RACER, would like.
Loaner Cars:
I will have a loaner car ready. Tamiya Touring car for anyone wanting to try stock, or for a novice driver. Working on a second car.
Power:
In the past we've let people tap into the generator. If you have one please bring it, and we should be fine. Otherwise we can only let a few people tap in. We have 1200W to share.
Prices:
1st class: $30
2nd class: $10
3+ class: Free
$10 back to those helping with teardown.
Out of town guests from IROCC will be $20 unlimited classes
I can't wait until the season starts. See you guys then!

Can't wait for May, but first a Q:
Are HPI Vintage Hi-performance (102993/102994) and/or Vintage Slicks (47914792) tires -- both are D-compound -- legal in RRR or do you mean just the big-tread 4793/4794 tires?

The schedule looks great .I will speak to BCIT if they will allow the security gate at the other entrance to be opened to allow us a better access to the track . I finish work at 5:15 so I am looking at 6-6:30 for arrival to the track .

Sounds Perfect. Just after traffic dies down.

I will be working on improving the track. More durable and easy to set up.
Also stocked up on Traction Compound. Bought 120 Bottles to get us started.

The guys brought the pop over for storage yesterday and John bought a new toy (backpack sprayer).
The track should be up and running in record time .
