I can't say the same thing about the infield.
Moisture makes this track great!! Of all the years I've been making the trip, my favourite was 2010. It POURED all night Saturday, literally stopped raining 10 minutes before mains started on Sunday and made it an amazing mains day.

I've signed up my two kids for the 2wd mod this year. I'm taking a hietus this year. Family will all be up there. Looking forward to the fun times like we had last year. Track looks very fun. Looking forward to seeing all of you again.

Check here for a complete list of campgrounds in the area.

http://www.grandeprairielodging.worl...m/Campgrounds/

Next closest would be Camp Tamarack, Legion, Stompede, Country Roads, Lake Saskatoon in about that order. Legion is right in town, Camp Tamarack and Stompede are each 5 minutes south of the track. Country Roads is north of town, maybe 15 minutes away and Lake Saskatoon is the provincial campground west of town. Maybe 25 minutes away.

New layout looks good! I'll be in town for the weekend for a friend's wedding, so I'll stop by and check out some of the mains.

Shave your head and make yourself look shorter and tubbier if you come by. Then you can race my buggy for me in the Expert A Main.

Only 9 days left to register. This is going to be the best race event of the season, so don't miss it.

Just booked my camping spot in at the Tamarack RV Park. Wee Links IS all filled up unfortunately. Not many sites left in GP. I guess there is a number of festivals going on that same weekend. Looking forward to seeing all of you again.

I called Wee Links about 2 weeks ago and she said it was all booked then, but she thought about one more spot. Sounds like it's not the best spot, but I only want somewhere to park the trailer.
My Anniversary is July 19, and I thought for sure I wouldn't be going, but my wife said she is coming along and the kids too. I expect to owe her big time for this, but at least I get to race!!

Just an update on the pile of door prize's we've accumulated. On top of the 2 nitro engine's, Lipo batteries, and Proline tire sets. We also have a helicopter, SH Tires and several other odds and ends. We will also be holding a raffle for a Hitec battery charger that can charge 4 batteries at once. As well as a 50/50 draw. All prize's are donated or supplied by Extreme R/C, RC Depot, Terra Nova Hobbies, Great Plains Hobbies, Horizon Hobbies, Darrell Smith and the GPMRA.
