Another congrats to Ty and family! Im sure he was dissapointed that he came so close, but he has a lot to be proud of.
Imagine how Elliot Boots feels!
His new HB was very much stock wasnt it? Not a frankenbuggy like AE was running..

None of the buggies at the Worlds would have been stock. They never are. Tose guys are paid to test and create new parts. A different plastice, different chassis plate, different c-hubs, etc. You never know, but you can bet there is no "off the shelf, stock" buggies there.

Huge accomplishment for Ty and his family. All the dedication has shown in his results this past year.

The D812 was brand new. I suspect it was very close to the release model or exactly the same.

The production level is brand new. He's been running it for some time. Yes, most of the car should have been production, but I would bet money there were prototype or modified parts on it, not an off the shelf kit.

Either way, whatever they drive, stock or prototype, the kid can wheel an RC like very few people in this world can!

Canada has a driver that we all can be proud of... Ty is truly at the top of the world!.. and I have no doudt he will produce Canada's 1st IFMAR title

I still remember Gord talking to me on the phone while I was at Competition R/C (year 2000-2001) Back when Ty was just starting to race, He would have been 8 or 9 years old. Gord would say how dedicated and devoted Ty is to R/C racing and I think he even said Ty wants to be the best one day!. Amazing job Ty and Family! You are the Best!
