I would like to take this opportunity to thank some people.
Once again thank you to the sponsors who got the ball rolling to pay for this event. RC Pit Stop, Hooked On Hobbies, Race Tech and GO GO Hobbies. I would also like to thank Hi-Performance distributors, for re-starting this event. It was a pleasure to work with all of you.
To the people who travelled from the Island, thank you for making the trip. It was once again great to run with you guys, I'm not sure what your putting in the water over there, but we may need to test you for performance enhancing drugs!
I would like to thank the racers that came out and had a good time, as mentioned in the beginning this race was put on for fun. We tried our best to make the experience enjoyable for all. This race was not put on to make money, but more so for us the public, to have somewhere to run our cars that wouldn't be wet and we could all get together as friends enjoying a similar interest. Yes some things could have been done differently, but hindsight is always 20/20. I have been told that people are trying to find different electronics that would hopefully make the next event run smoother.
On that note, over all I would say that the event was a success, I had a really good time running my rigs against other racers. The novices looked like they were all having a great time and I hope that everyone will come back out for the second race set for January. If anyone is interested in helping out with the second event please do not hesitate to drop me a PM and I will send it to the necessary parties.

Hey a buddy and I are going to head out to this, we have been down to mike to have a few runs but never raced. How do we go about singing up for this. Also will there be house transponders ?
We both have 4x4 SC trucks I'm not sure if we should run in novice class or what? Any info would be great. And if you need track help the night before I'm sure we would be keen.

I have a new thread posted on here for the Jan 19th race. Just put a post on there with your full name, that you will be using a house transponder, and that you will be racing in 4x4 SC. I wouldn't sign up for novice if I were you. You want to be racing will others will a similar vehicle. It doesn't matter if you're experienced or new to racing, that is a big enough class that there will be many people of all different abilities in there. Novice classes tend to be kids with a wide assortment of RC's.
It's completely up to you though, we can always change it race day depending on the entries in both classes.
Thanks!
