Garontee that there will be no blue groove Here.
Bring what you got.
An aggressive bite should do well.

when i ran t teh coquitlm offraod track last april, i ran my exo in the 4x4 sc class.. and finished top 5 in the A, with an untested new built buggy and only a 10.5

im stayin st bcit for school right now anyhow, so i brought some rc gear so i could make a race or two while im here..

my plan is to run your race, and one of the ogr races, and maybe a indoor onroad race in seattle on the 1st..

Coming over from the island bringing my 2 and 4wd short course . I was hoping to pick up a third class using my kids losi xxx- scb . Just curious what class you guys would put it in. In nanaimo they run the losi xxx-scb with the stadium trucks?

There seams to be a few of the 2wd
Short Corse buggies on the market
Now a days. Maybe there will be more
People with them By then. You might
get you're own class.
Never know.

I'd like to run cutters on the front of
My Sc10.
If we vote on it than maybe we all can.
Yay or nay?

In the past there has been a way to register
Early and then you pay when you get to the track
*on race day.
Usually a post is set up a week or so before race day.
It helps out the race directors if you can register early.

hey all,

stumbled upon this thread from google land. is there somewhere I can read more about these races? i've been riding an axial crawler for a couple of years but just bought a 1/10 traxxas slash 4x4. (sooo mental with 3S lipo compared to my crawler!!)

i'm in surrey, and it's awesome to see a local community. i'd like to dabble in rc racing again... my last race was something like 15 years ago. i've been mostly flying stuff recently, but with the weather turning i figured i better get something a little more weatherproof for the winter.

anyway, i'd like to read a little more on the rules, etc. i saw the OP state 2 cell hard case batteries... 2s lipo only? i think my rig would be pretty slow with that. i'll try it.

thanks in advance!

Well that's racing. If you feel it's to slow
On the 2s than change you're gear ratio.
But test it on the track first.
There will be othere slash 4x4s running
The same battery as you.
Bring a tooth or two bigger sper gear with
You on race day.
There is a hobbie shop 10min away if you
Need parts in between heats.

Thanks for the speedy reply

I haven't tried my slash with a 2s yet - only with the crappy nimh it came with and some of my 3s lipos. with 3s lipo it's pretty much retarded on pavement - sooooo awesome. love it. mows the lawn great. i'll try it with a 2s lipo from my crawler tomorrow.

is there a minimum mAh recommended for racing? it's been so long i can't remember how long races even are.

i guess i'm looking for a recommendation on mAh and number of batteries to bring so i don't show up short handed
