Talking 1/8th Off Road in Western Canada

Time to give 1/8th Buggy racing in Western Canada its own thread!

Let's have a place where we can talk 1/8 th without jacking a thread for a race...

Who's going to the Wenatchee race? Let's try to put together a strong Team Canada and show them americano's that we can race with the best

I'm planning on going back there again, but only if I'm not the only Canadian there.

Goat,

I think we can round up 3 or 4 from Calgary. Navaz, Me (if I can find a car), Ryan might be interested...and Del.
If some Edmonton guys show up there could be a really good turnout for Team Canada!

If I am going to go and we drive I have the Exlorer which can hold 5 guys, but not equipment. I don't have a towing package on it either. Maybe if dan is going or somebody with a van or something we could take the majority in my car and the equipment in the van.
Before all that I need to work on my driving. I don't want to embarrass you guys.
Maybe our team name should be "Team Circus"

Hey Mike, if you can get an engine, I have a car and a bunch of parts for you. Nothing as good as my Mugen but my Hyper is working pretty good right now.

Would love to go, but will be building the new facility so we have something to race on, LOL.

Maybe we should all pick a differrent US race every year and make a splash at it. They have great races all over the US every year and having a strong Canadian "Team" presence would be cool. Keep them on their toes guessing as to which one we will invade that year. SGrid is great for finding out when races are going to be. Its a little late this year, but what do you guys think? We could still all plan for a race later this year also.

I know it isn't in the US, but there is a big race in the Toronto area at the end of August that I and possibly a few others are going to. It is at Sprucewood. Richard Saxton is supposed to be there as well.

Good plan Garry, that would be the way to go! We have lots of time to plan for a race next year.

The Wenatchee race is the best race states side!!! Well at least this close to home! Everyone should try to make this one! I'm signed up and paid! Last year was too much fun to miss it!
