I am going to try to get a bunch of racers from NRC on Vancouver island to travel to at least one of these races this summer. We had a ton of fun racing indoor with all of our Albertan friends and can't wait to race again.

Hi Steve
Just read USA 2012 rules book and need help on 2wd SCT.

This post from last years thread states we will switch to the US rules for 2012
http://www.rctech.net/forum/9133156-post37.html

The 2wd stock rules seem vague. http://www.rcproseries.com/info/rule-book-2012
On pages 20 it says 17.5 or 27t brushed but nothing about ESC and/or boost or electronics? RTR tires etc.....
So is the only difference between 2wd Stock & Mod the motor limit now?
All hop ups, SCT tires, etc allowed?

Thanks

5 days no answer........ Does anyone know? Be nice to have an idea..

Thanks

Update
Steve told me the series rulebook is a little weak when it comes to the SCT classes. He's working on getting it amended. He should have some updates on this soon

Hi, sorry if this not the appropriate place to post this, but it does in a way involve the RCPS. The Stettler R/C Club is planning the First meeting of the year for Sunday March 25. I think 2:00 pm would be a good time, but we will see how it works out for members. Does this work for you, Steve & Allan? We will be discussing what we need to do to prepare for the RC Pro race this summer. I have already been getting quotes for extending the driver's stand. I will see how wet the track road is on that day. We may meet at my shop for the meeting, and then some of us can go to the track to asses the situation there for R/C Pro.
You can also check updates for the Stettler Track HERE.

Well, we have started work on the Stettler track. Steve H. went up there yesterday with his bobcat and graded/packed the pad. It looks great. He got as new attachment(TOY) for his bobcat for grading and it works awesome. It is actually quite dry up there right now. I just have to get the guy to bring us some dirt for the jumps.
Steve and Allen, I will email you the layout with the actual dimensions of the pad and you can let us know what you think. I guess we should try to plan a date to start building the track. If you guys have a day that will work for you, let me know and I will make it work. I will supply the food and drinks for anyone that can come and help.

We are trying to design it for better drainage because of the wet summers we have had. We will probably have a dry summer this year just because we did all of this extra work. Either way, I guess it will be good.

I just spoke with the dirt hauler today and he says we will have dirt by the end of the week.

I will show the layout when we are decided for sure. We don't have any jumps drawn in yet. We are trying to get some big air, while still making it SC friendly. I like BIG Air!!
