F1 Rubber tires is allowed in the GT class.

But currently in the rules and in that past WCICS races, the host club can have a "demonstration class" that they can run whatever they want that just don't count for WCICS points. BC looks to have a pretty popular F1 Foam class so why not put this up and see how registration looks like. Everyone happy!

From past personal experience, I only get one set to run both Stock and Superstock. As a budget racer, i don't see that value of getting another set that may or may not earn me a better placing and changing tires between cars takes like 30 seconds tops. I think if you're top 2 or 3 battling for the win or you just want to get another set cause you can then all the power to you!

Also in the past, there is always concourse. I think each club contributes to the overall championship trophies but the individual clubs pay to provide the race / concourse trophies. Ryan will confirm that.

Looking forward to this race. Hotel booked already!

BEST WESTERN Rainbow Country Inn

$252.44 for 2 nights including taxes on the 14th and 15th. Cancellation policy is 6pm the night before. Hotel is only like 3 minutes away from the track. There's a cheaper deal but has no refund.

Take a look: http://www.rainbowcountryinn.com/

Ryan can you look into getting camping spots at the track. They have power/water hookups there for RV's.

I will be camping there the weekend before for my son's Canadian BMX Grand Nationals. They only charge $25/night.

Hey Inferno,

Good to see that you had jump on the F1 band wagon. F1 had been ran in the past Big Chill races. If there's enough guys, lets say 6 minimum we could have an exhibition class. Now to be fair obviously TCS rules comes in play but as for motor, last year we went away from the sport tuned motor aka black can to silver johnson motor. The motor rules for this year hasn't been updated yet from Borgfeldt so as long as the group decides as you voted on the ORCA Spark combo, this would be the one to run as there's no tuning could be done..another word no more motor cheats.

Lets see if there's more of the F1 guys wants to have an exhibition class.
So far I see 1. it would be great to see F1 back as an exhibition class. Cheers.

C'mon F1 drivers let's sign up and set this class up with Orca Sparks. Inexpensive and equal power. Let's do it!!!
Count me in for Orca F1, DSM and transponder to come.

Never run one before but I'm in for F1 as well! Just tell me what the class specs are and I'll get a car ready!

Just wondering also what the schedule is like usually on the Friday of the race weekend so we can plan our trip out from Calgary.

Thanks,

Ivan
