Are we racing with LiPos in mod and 19 turn this year? I don't want to buy any new batteries till I know what is going on.

I didn't mention 19T, because we have to look at turnout. I'm sure there will be a group wanting to run it, but if there aren't enough... you know the rest.
I did mention the open classes, because I know a few of us that were running 19T last year, are stepping up to modified and brushless.
Hopefully there will be enough of us to run both classes, but if not, 19T will probably get thrown in with open.
Li-po should be okay this year. I've already got 2 Orion 3200 that I've modified my T2 007 to accept.

just curious as to what type of brushless systems people are running. I was told at one of the shops that the 6.5 novak system was the most popular. i wanna buy one but do i buy the 6.5 or the 3.5 or what? I wanna be in the same boat as everyone else so thats why i ask. i plan on running it in my touring car. and can i run a momba or not, because its not roar approved. also as far as batteries go are the mod\brushless guys running lipos or nimh?

For touring car a 5.5 - 7.5 is enough! Novak ,LRP both good but id stay away from mamba, they are not legal.

I better hurry up and make this announcement before Dave loses interest...
Opening day will be Sunday December 16th. As mentioned above the track is located at 40 Parr Street, (west end entrance). Full details will be on the club website hopefully by the end of today.

See ya then.

Niiiiiice.
Unfortunately well deserved.

Thats great news Boyd.
On behalf of the racing community here in Winnipeg I would like to thank you for your efforts in finding a place this year Boyd. I would imagine it to be a big PITA to have to do this every year.

I would also like to extend an invitation for my services in setting the place up if need be.
For as long as my interest holds out anyhow.
Weeeee.

I have to hop on my bike for two hours, L8ter.

As they say, "It only takes one raindrop, to result in a heavy storm!!"

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with but a step"
May have been more appropriate.
"you reap what you sow."
" he who laughs last laughs loudest."
"It ain,t over till...............You get the idea."

Couldn,t resist sorry.
Weeeee!
