Last year we had guys running stock slash in the open class a couple of times.

We have ran vendettas with stock tires, foam tires. Tires should not have any mud caked on or sharp objects that may catch and damage the carpet.
Mini revos were ran with foam or rubber 1/10 scale tires tons of traction.
Lower your center of gravity if you don't like to flip over to much
I believe we can not run open shock tower style vehicles e.g buggies. unless a full touring car or truck style body covers the shock towers ( entire vehicle ). ripping carpet issue. ummm 1/10 scale i think vendetta style buggies i think were a non issue...

When you say "let's get the track set up PDQ" kinda implies that you are going to help. You should edit that and say "you guys".
Yes it is a start to the new season but yet same as last year... the same few that put together the track. I encourage more people to help build the track. ie pulling out carpet and laying down boards. track layouts are on the nascar website. If in doubt ask Joe Mike or Will since those guys are always there early and first and last ones building the track.
