I wonder what these would be like? - 2wd, 8th scale on the cheap.

http://brooklynhobbies.com/RC-Cars-T...-duo-nitro-kit

The page says race ready, if that includes everything, thats a steal! Forum for the class is here. The class seems to be working in Europe. Less headaches with setup, parts support etc. hmmm.

Axle182-After reading the webpage for those cars I'm pretty certain that all you get in that kit is the chassis. The "Race ready" part just refers to the all in weight of the car. I honestly don't think they would be a very good option to get people into the hobby. No suspension means they'll be tough to drive, parts will be hard to get, they have no realism, foam is major headache/stumbling block for newbies, the nitro factor is a turn off of for many, and finally you can only run them in the summer on the race track so their usage is very limited. Lots of the track in Europe are huge and super smooth so a 1/8th car with no suspension is pretty workable, but our track is barely large enough for 1/10th nitro. Electric touring really is the best way to bring people in IMO.

I can be at the track this Friday if any sweeping needs to be done. And if the sugar water barrels need to be filled this could be a good time to do so.
My plan is to be there around 9:30-10AM.

Not sure the key i have will work on the seacan but thats my plan of action. If anyone is able to be there to split the small load.

There are brooms (and squeegees?) in the seacan so we can expedite the drying process a bit. Grip probably won't be ultra high, but tire wear should be low, and the motors will stay a smidge cooler
