A couple of questions have been raised about the summer season via PM's and I will address them here as well as respond privately to the senders.

We have chosen the two electric classes (stock T.C. and 19 turn T.C.) because they were the classes with the largest number of racers this winter. Mod TC sometimes only had one or two guys running and at best maybe 6 or 7.

That being said, if anyone wants to bring out their car for the race dates listed they are certainly more than welcome to. If there are enough of the same type of car (mod TC, F103GT, 1/10 Pan etc....) a class will be created for them and if there aren't enough cars for a class the race director might put them into another class at his/her discretion. There will only be points awarded to the 4 classes mentioned earlier though and the trophies for these classes are going to be wicked!!! They will be held by the winner of the class for a year and then given to the next dude or dudette who earns them the following year!!! Your name could be forever immortalized on one of these trophies!!!

Finally, and I think I mentioned this in a round about way in my previous post...any club member can purchase a key for $20.00 for the outdoor track and use the track and the contents of the Seacan at their discretion (please lock up the track and seacan after using them though!!!) You must be a fully paid member of NASCAR to do this and there are no prorated memberships for the summer.

Hey guys,

Will your club have a weekend race this summer on that fabulous asphalt track of yours? I would be very interested in coming from Saskatoon to race there.

Thanks!
