I wish I could race this weekend, I had so much fun last year but I will be away for my honeymoon with Tasha.. Except for one race this summer I have taken the time off to relax and get ready for indoor season to start.. C U in a few weeks

We would have loved to support your efforts this coming weekend ,But we are busy with our annual race .
Our group were hoping that you would try and support our efforts .
Why don't you come out Sunday and even bring you BBQ to our race as a gesture of friendship and unity between our groups.
It would be a great way to do a meet and greet to inform everyone of your up coming plans for the indoor season .

It's not like that at all.

I think it would be a good idea to synchronize events between venues.

Since you like birthday party analogies,

Its like GORC is having a birthday party, but RRR already planned and announced a birthday party that many have RSVP'd. Ed suggested GORC to join our birthday party and introduce GORC as some attendees haven't been to GORC. It's only a suggestion.

In an EGGSHELL, its like having one big party where we can all eat cake.

I know you're going to turn this around somehow 604racer, I can't wait.

Hey Eddie,
I totally understand that you can't make it out, but this event was not meant to take people away from your race. The main reason why we are putting on this event is because I was asked by the cancer society and all our donations will be going to them in the strive to cure cancer. That being said, I agree with you 100% that the RC community needs to know everybody in it and it would be my pleasure to come down on Sunday and set up the BBQ and hang out with you guys for the day. Look forward to seeing you all there.

Hey Everyone,

Had a great turn out yesterday.
Doreen from the Cancer Society was so thankful for everyone's support with the donations.
Thanks to all the volunteers, who took time out of their day to come support a good cause.
We raised over $400 and hope to host more events like this, in the future.
Special thanks to the guys in the RC community, who took time out of their day to come show their support.

Had a great time today at RRR, there was a lot of great racing and close battles; it was great to see everyone out supporting the annual race and awesome to see the RC community coming together.
Thanks Eddie and Mario for inviting me out, sorry about the BBQ, if anybody would still like some pieces of it, you can find it on HWY 99. LOL.
PS-- the next fundraiser will be for a new GORCRacing BBQ.

Hope to see all you guys out soon, look forward to a great winter season!
