Rob,
too complicated........
all you do is give the last placed finisher 1 point and work up from there.
Easy

And not to agree with Dave again ( jeez that's like 3 time now) but only 1 12th scale class would be more than enough for me

Wow....everyone....CALM DOWN :P

Actually Larry off road does it as first place gets 100 points, second 99 points and so forth. You also get 1 point for TQ.

All I want is for this year to be a bit more organized then last year. I wish that the races are about 1 month apart as time is hard to get off work for myself and most people that I talk too. Also, I want rules to be clearly stated as myself and others had "problems" in what was a 19 turn spec motor, which almost made me think of packing up everything and quiting RC(no sticker....not allowed...which it came to the last race before there was DQ's). I know here in calgary that there might of be 2 people that quit because of that ruling (Which is funny because 3 of 5 clubs didnt care that there was no sticker...but 2 made a fuss)......well that is enough ranting and raving for me....I still get ticked when I think about it...but oh well

So lets get the dates of the races posted and the rules that we are following. As for Vancouver area being added...lets do it...but lets make 4 of 6 racers manitory so that people do need to do some traveling in order to qualify for the series.

Thanks for listening
Chris

cclifton, you say you want clear rules but complain about the 19 turn ruling last winter when the 19 class rules were clearly outlined to all at the start of the series and if you were not familiar with the rules when you raced you should have inquired yourself

I think points stays as was for last year.
If you win a race regardless of who is there and who is not it makes no difference, you won therefore you get rewarded by receiving the top number of points, oh and all the glory that goes along with that.

As for classes, I suggest
12th scale 19 turn
Touring mod with a 10 turn limit
Touring 19 turn

as for events I suggest 6
October in BC being the first then 1 a month in whichever order suits with the last round being in March

As for championships I suggest
Best 4 from 6 rounds to count.

Just my thoughts,
Stu

Default series

Is touring stock going to be dropped for the series races? 19turn Is so close to mod that it might not be suited for newcomers or people that are "less skilled" to be able to run competitively or at least not break their car every round.lol

I think there should be touring stock, 19 turn and Mod. Stock should be left to the new guys ( No sandbaggers looking for a easy win.) I think 19 turn is needed for a second class for guys who don't want to run 12 scale.

RULES!!!!!

On a more serious note, absolutely, there should be a set of written rules for EVERYONE before the series starts. Whether we adopt roar rules or whatever, so we are all on the same page.

My classes of interest. 1/12 M0D, 1/10 pan 19 turn (ANY 19 TURN)or MOD, You can stick the so called "SPEC" motors where the sun don"t shine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'l sell you 2 "LEGAL CHAMELION MOTORS CHEAP" Key word LEGAL. But thats enough looking back time to move on. SNOW IS ON THE WAY . The smiles were added just so you don't take me to seriously. AFTER all remember we are racing (OVER PRICED)toy cars for bowling trophies.. (I read that in post somewhere) ALSO if your not having fun go home......

The "WET" Bull.
