Yes you can set up tents and pop ups but will have to take them down at night. It is a public park so i wouldnt leave anything behind.

I'm am getting 1 generator for sure for the PA and I'll look into getting 1 or 2 more if I can get them donated.

I will have someone unlock the gate early friday for all of you.

Thanks for reminding me Inferno girl, i havent even seen the PA system yet. I'm gettin it form a buddy. Should be able to hear it.

Richard, I'll be pissed if you don't come.

Can a big truck park there...semi? No trailer, just the truck? We will be attending the race but will be on the road passing through. Hopefully there is somewhere we could park??? Let me know, thanks.

Geez that's a tough one. I dont know if the city will be too excited about a big rig in the park, especially on the grass. There is lots of parking near the track though, if you want I or someone else can help you pack your stuff over to the track area. Sorry but I guess they never had big rig parking in mind when they built the place. Either way we can sort you out.

I race the WCORCS series too, I've been to Medicine Hat, Kamloops, Quesnel, Edmonton and going Red Deer. How many have you attended?

Edit: I want to see better quality racing/turn out. I hate seeing people come out with thier monster truck and not run at all since there's only 2 that showed up Or a points race that only has 7 cars total in it.

I'm sure we'd all like to hear constructive suggestions on improving the turnouts. I don't think culling races from the series is necessarily the answer though, after all total attendance is up quite a bit from last year.

Maybe we should look at adding an additional scoring round to the points or reducing the number of series classes, or try to find better incentives for people to travel.

Anyway, discussing this stuff might be better left till after this season is completed and everyone is planning for 2005.

I was all set to go up for this race, but I was under the impression that it was Sunday Qualifying, Monday finals...
Has that changed, or was it ever even the case and I've picked it up wrong??

Default Weather

Hi Delmo,
Just wondering what the weather is like there, its forcast. Here in Sask, its rainy, cloudy, rainy for the past 3-4 days. It looks like it will be here for the weekend. I hope its better there.

Also, are personal transponders usable? If arrive on Saturday, can we set up at the park around noon?

Looks like I'm a go Del. How is the weather going to be up there??? I'll let you know what my frequency and stuff is when I get up there on Saturday. Looks like I'll be breaking in my buggy and engine up there.

For weather you can always checkWeather Network .
They've pretty much got the most current conditions. It looks like it might be pretty good though.

As for personal transponders, that's a no. We'll be using the RC Gears stuff and we can't use pesonals. We have 19 in our rack though. That's plenty for the weekend.
