Sunday only
yes, you can just show Sunday. There is still a qualifier in the AM before the Mains so you get a chance to secure a good spot on the grid.

Relocate
ok, so given the forecast and a commitment from locals and surrounding area racers to attending this event, we will move to the backup location.
The Details.
Address: 996 Laval Crescent
Located near the Walmart, across from Smith Chev Olds Dealership. 5mins from most of the hotels, and the mall. Lots of places to eat nearby.
Track Size: 80x40ft of smooth concrete floor. We will treat the floor with pop to help bring up the traction.
To maximize track area, we will likely have the Pit Area outdoors, so please still bring those tents and tables to keep you gear dry. Dress warm.
Schedule for tomorrow and Sunday will remain the same. Classes to remain the same, but I give anyone with Nitro fair warning that because we are indoors, we may NOT be able to run nitro.
I'll try to post instructions at the main track for anyone who missed this post.
If you have any questions, or trouble finding the Warehouse, please call my Cell Phone 250-819-4216

so far, so good.
well so far the back up plan is working out. First of all (and most important), it actually did end up raining here today, so without hte back up warehouse, it would have been a rainout.
Second, the racing, though similar to drifting, has been good and entertaining.
Third. Everyone is having a good time despite the cool, damp weather.
I'll post some pics later. Tomorrow should bring 2 qualies and the mains. track open just after 8, driver's meeting 915, race 1 on the line for 930.
...late comers welcome.

Thanks to Craig at Baja North for lunch and such! Greg at Desert Pools and Spas & RC for the pit set-up and Ren at Interior RC for having the parts I needed for the weekend!

Great time
well the back up plan was a success. we had 1 dry, though slippery, track to race on...and a bunch of people having a good time racing.
Thanks to the PRCC members who joined us for the weekend.
Please post photos if you got them.

Thanks to Jason, Brent and all the Kamloops members for putting on a great race in spite of the weather, and hope we can return the favour in the near future. It was one of the most interesting tracks I have ever driven on which made it all the more fun. Hope to see you guys soon. hey all,
sorry for the late reply. I had a great time on the weekend. that was some awesome racing. everyone adapted to the track pretty well, after the initial shock, and showed some real skill in conquering the touring/drift style of driving. it was alot of fun. one of the best events yet, despite the weather.
thanks to everyone that helped out, Jason for some good directing and to the Mikoula family and Amber and Anthony for taking the time to come out. you really helped make this event happen.
almost forgot, I have some pics. camera went bit wonky thou.
