I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get some chrome paint (like spazstix liquid metal) in Canada. I haven't been able to find any.

A while back Hobby wholesale brought in some chrome paint. Came in a bottle about the size of the pactra fast color bottles.

Ask any hobby shop for alcalad chrome paint , if you cant get any from your hobby shop pm we have some in stock

Aye, you can get Alclad II lacquer chrome #107 from Hobby Wholesale. As for the SpazStix, I believe you'd have to order directly from the SpazStix people, unless one of the LHS's decides to bring in a batch.

When you're using the Alclad, shoot it at about 15psi, and don't wait more than a few minutes between coats - of which you should be able to get away with 2, perhaps 3. On top of that, it is a lacquer based paint and must be cleaned up with the appropriate thinner - so be very careful, and make sure you've got plenty of ventilation. Pretty standard stuff of course, but it's 'Big Safety' stuff that can't be mentioned too much.

Raceway Hobbies in Medicine Hat (403-526-5288) stocks the Spazstix chrome liquid metal, and it is a superior product to the alclad in our opinion.

We carry a wide selection of the paints both airbrush and aerosol.
The regular airbrush colors are 6.99 a bottle, color change airbrush paint 11.99, color change aerosol 12.99, chrome aerosol(does not come in airbrush) is 12.99, the gloss black backer aerosol is 6.99, airbrush 4.99, holographic is the same price as color change.
