Default Trophies

Could the following 2008 winners arrange to return their trophies to Kamloops for this years Final?

Ty Tessmen - 1/8 buggy and truggy
John Guss - Sportsman buggy and truggy (not sure there was one for these??)
Matt Dickson - Monster Truck

Steven Daniluk - Electric Truck Open
Cory Drachenburg - Electric 4wd Open

Can fellow racers of these drivers please let them know we are looking for the trophies back should they not visit RCtech often. Ty and Matt already know, but John, Steven and Cory I haven't heard from.

I believe an AB racer is planning on attending the Final this year, I am checking with him to see if he can bring back trophies. Otherwise please ship all trophies to

Lightbulb race information

Jason, you might want to post race information here for people who want to attend their 1st race in Canada. Is this race open to our south of the border racers? Forget trophies, they'll do anything for ketchup chips! Terry

Default Info

Race is on RCSign Up. I will try to post some details here, just a busy week.

Matt, Thanks. Figured there wasn't any for the Sportsman classes, but surprised about the 4wd buggy.

Questions?? Americans

Hey, no one has answered the question if our American racers can invade Loops for that race? I have some buddies from the Washington area interested in visiting the land of the ketchup chips. You guys have a top-notch facility and i've invited them...what do you say?
Maybe our CORCS director should handle this one?

Red face Now i'm pushin it...

If indeed they come...can we introduce a 2wd buggy class as well? Remember,a long time ago...there used to be a class called 2wd offroad buggy? And i just happen to have one too...thought i'd slide that in there too.
Sorry,not trying to be difficult...just a suggestion?

Default Buggy and Americans...geez

I don't know, you are asking a lot now, Americans and 2wd buggy.

I don't see a problem with having some extra guys come up. the only issue I see is to do with trophies....I'll talk to the other directors.

I would love to see 2wd buggy tearing it up again. We ran the class here in the Electric Dirt Challenge, and it was great. There are couple in town, and if 5 are pre-reg'd we'll try to fit you in the schedule, and have some trophies for you.

I'm trying to find time to post some more details, but check out RCSignUp for the race there.

later.

Default Americans??

Yeah for sure, the more the merrier.

The only issues is the potential for some of our big trophies leaving the country. If you get a 1st place trophy we will have to work something out to ensure we will get them back at little or no cost.

How many racers are we talking here Dork Missile??

Dan

Cool Mericans...

I've only been contacted by the Munns,Jesse and Brian. They aren't confirmed...i've passed on a little information to them. If they are interested they should let me know shortly.
I've tried to entice them mentioning this is a top-notch facility and it's a CORCS final race with some notority to it. Both Jesse and Brian are newly signed Team Kyosho drivers. Coming to this event would probably be a great showcase for the Kyosho line of cars/trucks. Kyosho just released their NEW 2wd buggy and truck.
Jesse and Brian usually travel with a gang of guys....hopefully they will bring Jake Munn along(another top level driver). I'll let them know the race is on rcsignup.com too.
These guys are kinda good...but it doesn't mean they'll take all the trophies home! We gotta stand up for Canada and beat them on our own soil! Terry
