Default I saw it from the top

Blain

I figured that they probably went through Cache creek as the yellowhead was closed this morning, (there was still frieght from last night setting this morning because the truck had to make a detour).

I saw the very beginnings for the fire from the top of summit, boy did it get big fast. It went from what looked like a house fire to the whole hillside in about 15 minute or less. People were stopping all the way along Summit to have a look and just about any where else that the could see it from.

One of our drives got stuck in the middle of the road closure trying to due a [ickup just off Pau Lk road on CHief Louis Way. Boy was she having a bit of a breakdown.

hope that it doesn't jump the river and appear at you front door Blain, better leave the sprinkler on all night on the roof just in case.

I hope that eeveryone in the area makes it through with as little loss as possible to property.

Scary

Default how much for the lot???

Melnyk

How mych for the lot, the gas truck and the Nova Rossi? You don't need them, you don't really have a pit crew, and Stu doesn't count. Though he may count for two in weight, you only end up with just under one!

Just kiddin Stu

SEe you on the 17th, but there is racing on the 10th.

Have fun without me

Well we made it home safe. Everything here is good and the highway is open to Vernon. We are still on stand-by just in case the fire changes direction.

Melnyk you are so lucky. Jason qualified second in mod buggy but just didn't keep it together for the triple A-mains. Just so you all know Stu was 1# away. Sorry Stu. Maybe next time. The race was fun. I forgot how much fun a trophy race can be. Kamloops drivers did well and I told people about our race so hopefully we'll get a good turnout. So lets start getting the word out now so people can prepare.

Well all for now. Won't be there for the race on the 10th. TTYL, DOUG

Stu and Jim, thanks for everything.

Talking

Hey we need more gas trucks in the loops. Jason Melnyk wants to race it. Guiseppe you get one too get RJ,s truck if he will sell it. There was 10 gas trucks in Quesnel and I think at our race there could be that or more. Gas rules. Also Stu pitted for me in Quesnel and he was awsome pit guy too bad for the 2 flame outs we had and the broked ball stud in the rear shock tower and then the diff went. Finished 6th place though. And 2nd in 2wd mod. I think there was 11 of us. TTYL, DOUG

Hey thanks Blain. Ya you get a helpless feeling when you are 5 hours away from home. Good thing the inlaws are close by. Hope things are ok around the loops. TTYL, DOUG

Default hey doug

Ya for a bit there I had fires coming just about all angles at me here in Soak hills (hahaha Oak Hills) but we kinda escaped but we seem to be gettin a good bit of smoke down here in the bowl..this morning and most of the day I could barely see the trailer across from me (20feet away)............

on another note I know I wouldn't be much competition at first but I would love to get me one of those there gas trucks...who knows maybe if I could ever get lucky with work I could get one

I am going to be going out to the track 2morrow evening to screw around I have a nephew in town and he really wants to try RC's so I said I would take him so if anyone wants I will probably be out sometime in the evening
