Default Well I'll be there

Hey Guys

I'll be there for Sunday. April has to work in the afternoon so I don't think she's gonna bother coming.

Merv will attend if he can find, buy and get ready a TC before the weekend. (Ren you have mail!)

Is there room for us to do some 'maintenaince' off to the side? so maybe evyone can show up a little early and get things cleaned up while we wait?

Just a thought.

See you all Sunday

Early???Early? I didn't think most of the club knew what early was?? I am trying to set up a time with David Olds to get into the Calvary Temple sometime to clean up the boards....very dirty from being under the drivers stand all summer. Will let you all know when and if we can get in to do this. Hopefully, we can get some bodies out to help with this.....and maybe get the carpet cleaned....I will supply the vacume (sp).

The earliest we can get in on Sunday will be 1:00pm.

We got them through Chris Macievich, but I can't remember who he got them from. But he's back in town, so there's a good chance of tracking them down.

Korgae....hope Doug helped you last night. Busy day for me yesterday.

Attention Club Members......We are able to get into the Calvary Temple Gym to wash down the boards anytime today. Sorry for the short notice but our Gym contact (David Olds), was out of town and unable to be reached. We can go there anytime just as long as we are there before 4:30. If we stay after that, then we can just close the door behind us and go. I know many people are working and schooling but I was thinking there might be a chance after school.....say around 3:45 or 4:00pm??? Shouldn't take much more than an hour....depending on how many show up. If you can help please let me know via here, or 372-2917. My email server is down so could you all help spread the word around to others that you see? We desperately need to get this stuff cleaned up and this seems to be the only window for us.

Thanks and hope to hear from and see you soon....

Brent

Brent, as I indicated yesterday, I will be there Sunday and can help then. But Friday night is our late night - officially we're open to 8:00pm,, and in reality we're usually here until 11:00pm or later.

But I do hope you are able to get a few willing souls....

Korgae.....Chris used to be registered on this thread. Try contacting him at [email protected] That was the last address I had for him.

All the boards have been washed down and stacked neatly inside the Gym. One roll of carpet has been vacuumed so you guys will have to vacuume the rest on Sunday. Thanks Jason for for you help today.

We can also get in a little earlier on Sunday.....12:45 so see you all then!

Don't forget your extension cords and power bars.

Oh....and Membership Fees are due for those who haven't paid. Family Membership is $40.00 per year and an individual is $25.00. Membership cards will be handed out tomorrow to those who have paid.

See you all tomorrow......

Hey just have a few questions regarding the Kamloops track.

1. Whats the length and width of the track?
2. How wide are the lanes?
3. Running length wise howmany lanes does it have like 3? like if you ran straight stretches length wise howmany could you fit parallel.

Assuming you mean the carpet track...

1. 72' x 36'
2. varies from 7'-10'
3. 4

Hey Doug...we had a blast racing on Sunday! Can't wait to get some more guys out for next time. I was going to ask you.....do we get any throw aways for the 19T TC Series? Are you wanting to do a spread sheet for this series and it's points or do you want me to?

Take care all and watch for a newsletter comming to a mailbox near you!

I have to agree with just about everyone else - the new facility is great ! Thanks to Brent and David Olds for putting such a good deal together. Now we just need to get more racers out there ! When you consider that Doug, Rob Jr and R.J. were really the only "regulars" who weren't there (OK, April too, but she won't be a regular if she's working Sundays), then we will probably never be able to split TCs into 19T and stock, and the only class that may occasionally have two heats will be Pan Cars.

So we need ideas to get more people out racing. C'mon people, you all must know someone who might have fun racing, so find a way to get them out with you. Yes, this means all of you !

Unlike last year, my pan car ran fairly well this time. And with Brent and Ken falling by the wayside, I've probably scored the highest position that I'll get for the rest of the season ! But I'll be trying.....
