I don't think it can be 1 rule at 1 clubs' round and another for every other round.

I guess there's a possibility of having your own class though??
Although to my mind there are already too many classes.......

I suppose for the name you could always use the symbol for "an indefinite number", (like a sideways 8), which would cover however many cities participated!! Acronym: PINOCS or WINOCS, depending on whether using Western or Prairie.
Or perhaps use "variable": as in PVNOCS or WVNOCS.
I'm sure someone will come up with something.

That's too bad, Ren. I enjoyed racing there, and it's a good winter trip. If next years Classic is onroad, I'll try to make that.

c-lyon...yes, next year's "Classic" is planned to be an on-road race on our paved track. There will be an earlier Off Road race which will be part of the WCORCS (?) series.

We still hold our "Mid-Winter Challenge" race in February, but we don't get very many Alberta racers any more (none last year).

I gather a few of our racers may venture east to the Calgary Tri Cities race, and maybe the Lethbridge one too (we always enjoyed that one for some reason) - so maybe we'll see you sometime this Winter anyway.

Ren, that's good news. It looks like there may be 5 races this season, ( if Med Hat gets going), and it would be nice if things got sorted so there could be one in BC.
One reason I like Lethbridge is the individual drivers' stands!
February is fairly busy; Regina Tri is Alberta family day weekend, and I think World of Wheels is a week later.

Exactly what cities participate? Is Regina doing theirs again?
As for names, P.R.I.C.S. sounds fine.

Only 2 weeks in between the Hat and Lethbridge races. I think thats to close together. I feel bad for edmonton racers they have to drive 6 hours to one race and drive 5 hours to another 2 weeks later. I know I won't be able to travel to 2 races in a month.

Shawn, really???
that's too bad.... I love the fact that they are all in close together.
The geography of this country is always going to cause some travelling issues, but so long as the weather is ok I can't wait !!!

Default Tri Cities Started as the battle of Alberta

Hmmm....I remember when tri-cites started....I believe it was when mike bridges(Edmonton), steve soon(Calgary), and myself(Lethbridge) talked about a "Battle of Alberta" at the calgary pavement race at the revy parking Lot. Boy did it sould like fun..Now look at it...it could be possibly the biggest racing event in western canada. I think this is great, but now as it get bigger we need more organization. With Regina and now Medicine Hat being a part of the series....we need to organize. I believe that any club that is involved or wants to be involved should start organizing over the summer so that we can plan out race dates and rules so that everyone can be informed and ready to have "FUN". Since that was the primary focus of this racing series from it inception at the Revy parking lot.

Chris, what year did the first race take place, was it originally called TRI-CITIES or was it The BATTLE OF ALBERTA. I think I've been to every one .

Default New Series Name

If you have a suggestion please submit it here as we need to make a decision very soon with the Edmonton leg a little over a month away.
Looks like to me the front runners are
Praire R C Challange Series
Praire Challange Series
Westren Canadian Indoor Champinships

My vote is, Prairie Challenge Series. It's short sweet and will fit on plaques and trophies nicely.
