Hello All

ok, we have all the details ironed out for the Formula 1 class tire order. thanks to james from Pm for helping support the class and working with me on the bulk order.

if you are looking for a Kit then contact james at Pm. hobbycraft. he can still get his hands on the tamiya f104 v2 special edition black kit. but limited qtys. he has some in stock now but they are moving fast and can get his hands on only 3 more. i will leave you to contact him for this.

now for the bulk order, for tires and rims. as mentioned the pit shimizu tires seem to be the most popular and the one we are ordering. please send me an email to [email protected] and i will forward you an order form with types of tires and rims on so i can keep track of whom ordered what. but to summarize briefly. the PS front tires will be $19.99 and the rears will be $21.99. the rims are going to be $4/pr and come in three colors ( white/Black/ Grey ) the rims are the tuning haus rims as alot of people feel they are more durable and have a better gluing edge then the tamiya and 1/3 the price so i would suggest that you double up on your rims order. also Pm hobbycraft is now a distributor for tuning haus products, so i encourage you to have a look at their website www.tuninghaus.com if anything interests you then you can add this to the bottom of your tire order and james can bring it in at the same time

if you have any questions, let me know and i would be more than happy to assist.

to recap, send me an email and i will forward you the order form with all the sku's, i would like this back by sunday so we can place the order in on monday

thanks all

Kerry,
You think this deal will be available closer to the start of on road again?
I just don't want to buy stuff now, have it sit on a shelf until October, and worse find that by then something else has come out that is the new hotness.
You know how this hobby is

Hard to say stu, if anything then I would grab some rims as this is the challenging part to get. Kits may change but the consensus around the world for carpet seems to be the pit shimizu tires and a group of guys showed interest now for kits, conversion kits and

Kerry can I ask you how closely are we following the UF1 rules in WCICS Formula 1
are we using their rules from 2013? or are there any changes?
trying to plan on running an F1 car this upcoming season, our outdoor road season usually gets going around May and I would like to get in some practice.

Patrick .......cal would be the best one to reply to the rules for Wcics f1 as he is putting them together

However I do believe reading back a few that we would be following similar to these regulations, so I assume that it would make a good starting point for you and should cover 95%

Not sure if any of the Carcar guys play VRC in the off season?

Since the Carcar club on VRC seems to be somewhat inactive, I've been setting up monthly TC and TC Spec events along with the off-road events in the R/C GEARS club on VRC.

I've been restricting the Spec events to free tracks so the F2P users can access them.

Here's the April and May events:

Quite a deal! And, it doesn't require a booster which is really nice. Also goes down to 3.5T!

Looks very similar to the HW V3.1, wonder if it uses the same guts. Smoking deal if so.

Socked!!
The only problem I've had is with the shipping lately. They're using Malaysian post and it takes 2 weeks longer than normal.

On one order I placed and paid for, I forgot to add an item. I called them and it was all worked out with no issues.

What was the problem?

Hey guys,

I had a brain fart and ordered more F1 rims than tires. And now I think I may want to try some Exotek rims instead, so I have a bunch of extra rims.

Tamiya 54400 Silver rims for foam tires (fits Pit Shimizu rubber tires) - $5 for a set of 4
