5th Annual RC Ottawa – Cleveland Warm-up Race
November 2nd, 3rd and 4th RC Ottawa ,www.rcottawa.com, will again host a major 1/10th touring car and 1/12th pan car race to kick off the fall racing schedule. This is our 5th year holding the event, and we expect it to be a great success as always. We anticipate racers traveling to our event from Toronto, Montreal and New York State. We are accepting online registrations for the following classes:
- 1/10 Sedan Stock (rubber)
- 1/10 Sedan 19T (foam)
- 1/12 Stock
Our club is 100% owned and operated by its members and has been in existence for over 15 years. We serve Eastern Ontario and Western Québec with a permanent 9,500 square foot facility complete with a 80’ x 45’ track, 100 pit spaces, basic canteen, 1/18th track, and a tech booth. A local hobby shop is on site to sell spare parts and accessories during race days. Our membership continually donates time, material, and dollars to improve our facility. The club members have donated funds to re-carpet and expand our existing 1/10th scale track among other rejuvenation projects. The new 1/10th scale track is 25% larger than our previous track and was built with brand new CRC Ozite (replacing our well worn carpet). With the installation of our dedicated micro track our club also hosts 1/18th sedan racing series.
