Default TCS and Surrey Club Race Schedule

Over Geared Hobbies along with West Coast Touring Car Club will be holding on- road parking lot race series this summer. This series is to prepare for the Western Canada TCS (Tamiya Championship Series).

The actual TCS race will be limited to Tamiya cars and hop- ups only and will be monitored by representatives of Tamiya Canada. All other races will allow cars from different manufacturers. Spectators Welcome!


Classes will be:

TAMIYA CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES:
Super Touring GT1 (modified)
Touring GT2 (stock)
Formula 1- F201 (19 turn stock)
Mini (stock Mabuchi)
Rally WRC (stock)

Race Series:
Touring Modified (no wind limit)
Touring Expert Stock (19 turn)
Touring Sportsman Stock (27 turn)
Touring Micro
Touring Nitro
Formula 1- F201
Mini
Rally


Race Format:

Electric:
Heads- up racing, no qualifying with 1 throw out race.
4 Min. races for all electric classes.
No one can enter both Touring Mod and Sportsman Stock the same time.
Foam tires allowed in the race series for touring mod, expert stock, micro, and nitro only.

Gas:
Regular 5 Min. qualifiers.
“A” Mains- 15 Min. “B” Mains- 10 Min. All others- 5 Min.
We will endeavor to keep gas drivers cornering gas and elec. cornering elec. Unless there is only one main.

MANDETORY! For everyone’s safety as well as your car’s…
PCM receivers or fail safe must be used.
Throttle return spring installed.
Keep radio and receiver battery charged.
Cars will be checked before racing starts for these items.
For insurance purposes, cars not meeting these requirements will not be allowed to run.

All Classes:
Location will be in the parking lot of Save-On-Foods. 152nd and Fraser Hwy. Surrey.
Min. 5 entries to run each class, otherwise classes may be doubled up.
All touring classes are allowed to use 4 dr. sedan and 2 dr. sports car body only. No GT or “P” type bodies allowed.

Dates: (Weather permitting)
May 4, 18
June 1, 15, 29
July 13, 27
August.... 3(TCS)......10, 24
September 7, 21
October 5

Times:
Track set-up: 9AM (Help will be greatly appreciated)
Practice: After track is complete.
Lunch break after 2nd race

Race Fee:
1st class: $10.00
2nd class: $6.00 (Club membership and discounts to be announced)

Prizes:
$2.50 from each entry will be awarded back to the top 3 for their respective class.
(The larger the entry for each class the larger the prize awarded)

Default Racing in canada

how are you doing? I'm coming up maybe sometime in med june.racing with guys that would be fun.... Frankos
